After several months of hard work, we are proud to release our Din Djarin helmet, sculpted from the ground up from a scan of a screen-used helmet. We have worked hard to make this offering high-quality for the most discerning builders & collectors.
We are offering the helmet in a wide range of options, for those on a budget, right through to a premium finished collectable that will look as if it just stepped off the screen.
Features:
Screen Lineage - Our helmet has been designed from the ground up with access to a scan of the screen used helmet, from a kind benefactor this coupled with some incredible insights and overlooked minor details, we have been able to bring some fantastic tiny details to the replica space that have not been replicated before as far as we are aware.
Light Weight - Our Resin castings weigh around 800 grams, cast in a tough Shore 70D Urethane Plastic, but for the ultimate strength-to-weight ratio, we have a fibreglass-backed version just under 40% lighter at 500 grams with improved strength using Woven Glass & Epoxy hand layup
Unrivalled Hearing - our ear castings are hollow, similar to a screen used helmet, with openings in the helmet, allowing you to hear your environment and providing some much-needed space for ventilation.
Screen Matched Finish - We will be painting our helmets in Imperial Surface Technologies Legendary Alumaluster, the very same paint used on screen. We have been practising for months to arrive at a quality Beskar Finish, Sealed with an Automotive 2K Clear Coat. The finish will be durable with a final pass of weathering to finish the helmets.
Rear Venting - The rear of the helmet features a vent beneath the grill consistent with the Screen Used Helmet, offering further space to keep a cool head in the toughest of situations.
Optional Visor Kit - This is a custom-designed 1.5mm PETG lens wrapped in automotive-grade Tinting Film to match the screen helmet tint as closely as possible. We will also be offering this as a separate kit for those of you making your helmets or designs by other makers, as with hidden areas on screen props, we have taken the time to engineer improvements. This is one of them, allowing the visor to be easily removed and replaced if needed.
Optional Helmet Liner - We will be offering an upgrade for Finished helmets featuring a 3mm Quality Black Headliner foam, similar to the screen used helmets.
Pressure Cast Resin Accessories - Our ears and rear vent are professionally 2-part pressure cast in Urethane Resin, offering.
Custom Scaling - Through FDM (Tough PLA) or SLA Resin printing, we can produce a custom-scaled helmet for you (Please get in touch with us before purchasing to discuss measurements). This, of course, means it won't be as tough as our Resin Cast or Fibreglass helmets, but entirely fine for Display and Costume use with care.
FDM Note: We will not be offering finishing services on the FDM Helmets; this is for those who wish to finish their own helmet. Printed on our Bambu Labs H2D as a Single Piece with SLA-printed ears, they will arrive with supports removed but in an unfinished state.
